About Me

My photo
Sidewalk Universe
Reno, Nevada, United States
I am an amateur astronomer who enjoys everything connected with the universe. I am very enthusiastic, which reflects my passion for astronomy and for teaching. Some of my goals are to dispel common misconceptions about astronomy and the universe, and to make astronomy assessable to be enjoyed by anyone. I am the 2007 Astronomical Society of the Pacific’s recipient for the Las Cumbres Amateur Outreach Award, which honors outstanding educational outreach by an amateur astronomer to K-12 children and to the public.
