You get this...... a fun time for all in the cool morning of a new day! Jackie and Elaina were astro buzzed for sure along with 45 others who received a morning jolt of astronomy caffeine!
A little morning lun ar observing? How fun! I love that week between full and third quarter when I get to see the Moon in the morning. It's about the only time I could actually get out of bed that early any more.
That my friend is a good reason to get up and a super time to observe her. Nothing like Lunar light to start your day - part of a balanced breakfast for me!
I have been wanting to do one of these outings at a local morning spot such as a Starbucks or cafe etc. I thought this trial run went OK and I am waiting for a good weather weekend day to try it again in late May. The Marina is busy on Saturday mornings so.....
I am an amateur astronomer who enjoys everything connected with the universe. I am very enthusiastic, which reflects my passion for astronomy and for teaching. Some of my goals are to dispel common misconceptions about astronomy and the universe, and to make astronomy assessable to be enjoyed by anyone.
I am the 2007 Astronomical Society of the Pacific’s recipient for the Las Cumbres Amateur Outreach Award, which honors outstanding educational outreach by an amateur astronomer to K-12 children and to the public.

What a great idea! Morning is better for me in some ways anyway. I might give that a go next month.
