This is what it is all about! This trio was spellbound by Venus, and preceded to take off to other parts of the park and spread the word! The young lady in the blue had some very adult level questions about Venus. I was floored!
I am an amateur astronomer who enjoys everything connected with the universe. I am very enthusiastic, which reflects my passion for astronomy and for teaching. Some of my goals are to dispel common misconceptions about astronomy and the universe, and to make astronomy assessable to be enjoyed by anyone.
I am the 2007 Astronomical Society of the Pacific’s recipient for the Las Cumbres Amateur Outreach Award, which honors outstanding educational outreach by an amateur astronomer to K-12 children and to the public.

Hi Richard,
Keep up the outreach work! Terrific.
Looking at that photo of your scope, what eyepiece is in the focuser. It looks massive!

I will end off an email to you in regards to your question. How is Clifford the Big Red Telescope?
